The basketball star stayed hydrated with water but also sipped Moet Rose and frozen lemonade with fresh blackberries.

After spending Friday playing host at TAO Beach, LeBron James continued Fourth of July weekend festivities at LAVO. Arriving at 11:30 after taking in Jay Z’s concert, it was as if he brought the concert with him, as Jay Z arrived shortly after with a group of thirty, including his protégé Rihanna.

The two large tables had a lively dinner – even dancing in the dining room when the DJ spun Michael Jackson. The chic and casual Rihanna donned a black pencil skirt, white tank and black heels , sitting next to Jay Z who was at the head of his table. Jay Z toasted his manager John Meneilly with shots of Patron and a cake to celebrate his birthday.

After finishing dinner, LeBron ordered two magnums of Moet Rose and toasted his entire table, before adjourning to the nightclub where he was hosting. Jay Z and Rihanna followed close behind.

The group of 50 took over the entire VIP area in front of the DJ booth where Reach was spinning. LeBron, Jay Z and Rihanna stuck close together, toasting and dancing yet again when a Michael Jackson tribute set was played. Jay Z kept a watchful eye over Rihanna throughout the night, and after she left with friends he continued the party a bit longer, joined by NBA star Amare Stoudemire, Fabulous and Melody from the Pussycat Dolls.

Fabulous also enjoyed the Italian offerings in the restaurant before hitting the club, while at another table Palms owner George Maloof dined with film producer Lawrence Bender and friends. Post dinner Maloof and friends took a table at the marble bar in the nightclub.

After dining at TAO last night, actor Matt Dillon checked out LAVO on Friday. Casually dressed, he enjoyed dinner with friends on the expansive Strip front terrace. After dinner, which included the ever popular meatball, the group hit the club and a table stocked with Grey Goose. Dillon stood on top of the banquette to take in all of the action.

Cheryl Hines was another celeb who ate at TAO on Thursday and LAVO on Friday, enjoying lobster pizza with friends.
