From Friday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 6, Border Grill is dishing up two different specialty menus in honor of the annual Mexican celebration featuring brand new menu items that perfectly reflect the vibrant holiday.El Dia De Los Muertos, which translates to Day of the Dead, is a Mexican custom of honoring departed loved ones with an abundance of good cheer, refreshing drinks and delicious food.
Border Grill owners and legendary Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger have long considered El Dia De Los Muertos their favorite holiday. This year, the spirited menus at both The Forum Shops and Mandalay Bay make Border Grill the top destination for Las Vegas locals and visitors who want to celebrate this festive time of year.
Border Grill at The Forum Shops will feature playful menu items including: Spiced Sangria with White Wine, Mount Gay Rum, Apple Cider and Honeycrisp Apples; Pumpkin Ceviche (pictured above) with Candied Baby Pumpkin, Hawaiian Ono, Aji Amarillo Sauce, Fresno Chiles, Avocado and Pomegranate Arils; and Seafood Enchiladas with Tiger Shrimp, Crab Meat, Achiote Cream Sauce, Oaxacan Cheese, Watermelon Radish Salad and Crema.
Over at Border Grill in Mandalay Bay, guests can taste items like the Blood Orange Cayenne Margarita with Tequila Blanco, Agave Nectar, Fresh Lime, Blood Orange Juice and Cayenne Pepper; Life and Dead Crudo artfully blending Raw Hamachi, Living Greens and Charred Leek Vinaigrette; and a savory Roasted Duck Breast with Lavender Honey, Mole Negro, Brussels Sprouts and Sweet Potato Gratin.
