Lipshtick Launches Into Summer at The Venetian with Sassy Standup Stars to Kick Off Female Comedy Series
Lipshtick—The Perfect Shade of Standup is set to debut at The Venetian Las Vegas this July with a lineup of fabulous female comedians. The unprecedented comedy series will kick off with weekend performances from headlines including Wendy Williams, Heather McDonald, Iliza Shlesinger and Rita Rudner inside The Sands Showroom.
- Wendy Williams (July 11), Mother, wife, media mogul, entrepreneur, performer and best-selling author, Wendy Williams is best known for her long-running talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Named one of the “35 Most Powerful People in Media” by The Hollywood Reporter in both 2012 and 2013, Wendy’s nationally-syndicated weekday program was hailed a “breakthrough in daytime” by The New York Times when it launched in 2009. - Heather McDonald (July 18 & 19), Heather McDonald is best known for her appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately and has become the breakout star of After Lately. She is also a best-selling author: her debut book, “You’ll Never Blue Ball in this Town Again”, spent 7 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. McDonald’s follow up book titled “MY INAPPROPRIATE LIFE” was released last year. McDonald also contributed a chapter to the NY Times #1 bestselling book “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me.” McDonald has been writing for Us Weekly’s “Fashion Police”, as well as the Chelsea Lately show for 8 years. - Rita Rudner (July 25 & 26), One of the country’s top comedians and a New York Times bestselling author, Rita Rudner is also an award-winning television personality, screenwriter, playwright, Broadway dancer, and actress. Shows will be held on Fridays at 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30pm.
