Lisa Lampanelli to Perform at The Pearl at The Palms Jan. 15

The lovable “queen of mean” Lisa Lampanelli is set to perform at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 8:00 p.m.

Lisa Lampanelli is an equal opportunity offender whose comedy is a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker and a vial of estrogen. Labeled as “a true original and a brilliant comedy mind who’ll steal the show every time,” by Howard Stern, Lampanelli continues to prove that she is a headliner in the business.

Lampanelli’s rise to the top began in 2002 when she was the only female comedian invited to skewer Chevy Chase on the NY Friars Club Roast on Comedy Central. She was soon known as the “Queen of the Roast,” going on to lovingly tease such names as Pamela Anderson, Flavor Flav and David Hasselhoff. Because of her success, in 2009 Lampanelli was asked to be Roastmaster for the highly rated Comedy Central roast of Larry the Cable Guy.

Joining the ranks of other comedy greats, Lampanelli’s risqué style sets her apart from any other female comedian. She has appeared on numerous television shows, including BET’s “Comic View,” the “Wendy William Show,” Comedy Central’s “Last Laugh 2005” and two of her own one-hour specials “Take It Like a Man” and the Grammy nominated “Dirty Girl,” which debuted on Comedy Central and was released on Warner Bros. Records, reaching #4 on the comedy charts.

Lampanelli has recently appeared on the 2009 HBO comedy special, “Long Live the Queen” and is a regular guest on Howard Stern’s Sirius satellite radio show. She is currently preparing to shoot her next one-hour comedy special “Glamour-Puss” and in September, she released her first autobiography titled, “Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat and Freaks.”
