Lisa Marie and Tanzer to Release their Sophomore Follow-Up “Woman” on March 26, 2015

Lisa Marie’s still reeling from her debut song “I Want Your Lovin’” but as they say, “Ain’t no rest for the wicked.” Now that Vegas have embraced their newfound rocker with open arms, many have been asking, “What’s next?” Well ask and you shall receive.

On Thursday, Lisa Marie’s reps at Dustree Productions gave us the answer: “Woman” is the second single and will officially drop worldwide on March 26, 2015. It will be available through iTunes, Amazon and everywhere else you can digitally buy music.
“Woman” is the second song, a Tanzer/Lisa Marie collaboration that finds the rocker living up to her incredibly powerful voice, both lyrically and musically.
“I got tired of the smoke in my eyes/now I’m breathin’, I’m movin’, I am speakin’ out and I don’t care to wear another disguise,” Lisa Marie cries out in the breakdown, “you didn’t hear me comin’ so release the woman/fear the woman in me.”
This is another heavy blues-rock anthem that you are going to want to jump in the car, roll down the windows, hit the highway and crank it up loud, really loud. The songwriting is crafted with certainty and purpose, and the lyrics ooze a girl no more, a woman anew. If this is what we are to expect from the writing team of Tanzer/Lisa Marie, we are going to be in for quite a ride.
Mixing credits again go to Tanzer’s longtime friend and Juno Award recipient Dan Brodbeck, who won the 2010 Recording Engineer of the Year title for his work on the songs “Apple of My Eye” and “Be Careful” from Dolores O’Riordan’s album No Baggage.
