Local Blogger Dalton Primeaux Produces Fashion Design Competition for Charity; Designs to be Created Live at Martin Lawrence Galleries Oct. 3
Creator of style blog The WearHouse District and founder of Las Vegas Bloggers Society, Dalton Primeaux, has teamed up with Martin Lawrence Galleries to produce an incredible, one-of-a-kind live design competition in Las Vegas to raise money for charity. The event will be held in the Martin Lawrence Gallery, inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on October 3.

Primeaux’s event will showcase the artistic creations from up-and-coming designers, including Michelle Pointer of M’chlynn Couture, Kevin Smith of TAFALV, Lillian Love Dennis of Heavinz Lane and Haute Neon Nights, and Marisa Townsend of Marisa T Creations and Haute Neon Nights.

Each piece will be designed and created live, right in front of the event attendees. Each design created at the event will be auctioned off to benefit NPHY charity. “This is like the prequel to a runway show,” Primeaux said. “I love that we get to show the art within the actual design process, and the time and effort it takes to make any piece of clothing.”

“Most people only get to see the fashion after it is completed, either on runways or in stores, and don’t realize how extremely difficult it is to create these pieces and the beauty of the actual design process.”
Celebrating fashion design and techniques from all ages, the theme of the event is “time” and each designer will be representing a different fashionable era.
The event will be held in the Martin Lawrence Gallery, inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, on October 3rd. All proceeds go to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
