LoCash Cowboys honed their craft and developed into one of the most dynamic live shows in any genre of music by being serious road warriors these past eight years, criss-crossing the country performing on stages large and small. Along the way, they have built up an impressive fan fallowing, sold more than 60,000 copies of their self-released CD, earned endorsements from the likes of Budweiser, and shared bills with artists including Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, ZZ Top, and Tom Petty. They have also performed at half-time of NBA and U.S. Olympic team basketball games, and made several coveted television appearances. All this activity and the duo’s unique genre-bending sound caught the attention of James Stroud and his team at Stroudavarious Records in Nashville resulting in a record deal.

In November 2009, LoCash Cowboys performed at the Patriot Party at Freemont Street Experience in Las Vegas. This is their first show at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill.

“It’s shows like these where memories are made,” Brust offers. “The Vegas Strip is right up there with Times Square as the most exciting place in the world to be for New Year’s Eve. We intend on making our mark with a full-throttle performance that we hope people will never forget.”

Lucas adds, “We always say expect the unexpected. We don’t have a set list, we just gauge the crowd. We want to flow with them and make sure they’re having a great time.”

Some nights that means breaking out the “camo piano” for a few songs or digging into a wide variety of music styles – anything from Prince to Frank Sinatra.

Brust and Lucas have varied musical interests. Brust grew up the son of a Church of Christ pastor in Kokomo, Ind., singing a capella in church. Lucas grew up in Baltimore and loved everything from Sinatra to Justin Timberlake.

LoCash Cowboys’ current radio single, “Keep In Mind,” was written by hit-makers Jeffrey Steele (“The Cowboy In Me,” “My Town) and Shane Minor (“Beautiful Mess,” “Brand New Girlfriend”), and is culled from their forthcoming Stroudavarious debut album THIS IS HOW WE DO IT. The album, which was produced by Steele, is scheduled for an April 2011 release. The duo’s previous single, “Here Comes Summer,” cracked the Top 40 at radio, while the video peaked inside the Top 5 on the GAC and CMT Pure Country countdowns. Their new music is featured in the current season of CMT’s “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Brust and Lucas are also riding high having co-written “You’re Gonna Fly,” a song on Keith Urbans’ new album, GET CLOSER.
