It was an all out Jump Jive and Wail on Friday night at The Hard Rock Cafe as Louis Prima Jr. brought on the big band sound to a packed house overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Louis Prima Jr. performs the music of his father, Louis Prima, with a fresh youthful energy while keeping true to the roots of the music. He and the band, The Witnesses featuring Sarah Spiegel, put on a classic big show the way it was meant to be done — it’s vibrant, energetic and makes you just want to get up and dance. Louis and Sarah Spiegel worked the stage together sharing vocals on tunes and Prima wailed on his trumpet showing he is a man of many talents.
Louis Prima Jr. brings his famous father’s music to life, with an energetic performance and the unique, first-hand perspective of being the son of a music legend.
