, named “the most successful love singer of the rock era” by Billboard Magazine, will appear at the Eastside Events Center at Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nev. on July 20, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. 

Successful and driven from a very young age, Vinton formed his own band when he was just 16 years old and was quickly signed to a record label. Vinton recorded 30 Top 40 recordings and went on to earn more hit records than any other male recording artist of the 1960s. He topped the charts with “Roses Are Red,” which spent four weeks in the number one slot on the Billboard 100 charts, followed by his number one signature tune, “Blue Velvet.” He continued to record number one heart-rending love ballads such as “Mr. Lonely,” “There I’ve Said it Again,” and “I Love How You Love Me.

”Vinton has been awarded more than a dozen gold records and albums during his career and has sold over 75 million records. He has been honored by more than 100 national organizations for his unique contributions to ethnic communities. As a tribute to his talents and contributions, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awarded Vinton a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

His timeless love songs are recognized as standards and his music has retained its relevance.
