LV4PH Festival to Raise Funds and Awareness for Victims of Typhoon Yolanda Dec. 14

Red Dragon LLC in collaboration with the world-famous dance crew Jabbawockeez, Deftal Entertainment and The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) Nevada Chapter will host “LV4PH,” a festival relief effort to aid the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the East parking lot at Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

“This cause is near and dear to us and we wanted to do anything we possibly could to help out the victims of Typhoon Yolanda,” said Noel Casimiro, President of Red Dragon LLC. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families we have in the Philippines and LV4PH is for all of you.”

The festival will feature a headlining performance by Jabbawockeez. Additional live entertainment and cultural acts will be presented by Deftal Entertainment. More than 50 vendors will be present at the event including an array of popular food trucks and businesses who will donate their net proceeds to the relief fund. Admission is complimentary with monetary donations, which will be accepted at the gate by NaFFAA. Various donors who have contributed to the Philippine relief effort will be recognized including Caesars Entertainment for donating the space.

Super Typhoon Yolanda, one of the strongest typhoons ever recorded, has caused more than 5,000 reported deaths with an estimated 800,000 who have been displaced due to the typhoon’s destruction. According to the UN Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, about 9.5 million people have been affected in addition to the country’s telecommunications, agriculture and transportation.
