Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, Offers Specials for Valentine’s Day & Chinese New Year

Welcome luck and love throughout the month of February at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas. Romantic Valentine’s Day offerings and splendid Chinese New Year celebrations offer guests several ways to fall in love and celebrate, all at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.

Enjoy a romantic getaway with the Lucky in Love in Zen City package, where guests booking Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas’ luxurious accommodations for two consecutive nights receive a third night free. When booking this experience in the month of February, guests will also receive a USD 250 gift certificate from legendary jeweler Mikimoto, to use toward cultured pearl jewelry at their Crystals retail store. Rates begin at USD 315 and are valid until February 28, 2011.

Indulgence at the five-diamond Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, can be found with The Art of Romance treatment, a sensuous retreat that allows couples to relax and unwind à deux. After a welcoming foot ritual, the treatment commences with a skin softening body exfoliation for both guests. Following, the couple will luxuriate in a hydrotherapy soaking tub scented with an elixir of therapeutic natural bath essences. A personalized aromatherapy massage follows, as every muscle from head to toe is relaxed. The three and a half hour treatment is USD 600 per person on weekends and USD 510 per person Monday through Thursday.

Romance continues at MOzen Bistro and Twist by Pierre Gagnaire with delectable prix fixe menus at both. Twist features on February 14 an intimate, five-course, USD 185 tasting menu beginning with Underwater Love, which includes one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs, Olympic oysters, and ends with St. Valentine’s Favorites for dessert. February 11-14 MOzen Bistro presents its own five-course prix fixe menu, highlighting sensual textures upon the tongue, including scallops, white tomato sorbet, and ending with a white chocolate cremeux.

Between January 24 through February 10, welcome in the Year of the Rabbit with a traditional Chinese New Year menu in MOzen Bistro. The special menu will offer items to help bring more good luck, including the Yu Sheng Platter of Prosperity for two, baskets of delicious dim sum, and slow-cooked Hainanese chicken rice. In celebration of the actual New Year, from February 3-5, additional dishes include salt roasted pork belly and the lucky steamed grouper with leeks.
