March of Dimes Presents Annual Signature Chefs of Las Vegas at The Venetian Oct. 18

For a third year in a row, the March of Dimes annual Signature Chefs of Las Vegas event will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction featuring an array of culinary, artistic, and entertainment-themed packages. The main event will showcase a live auction and culinary sampling of cuisine from 40 of the finest chefs in the city. Proceeds from the event benefit March of Dimes research to find causes of premature births, education for mothers to have healthier pregnancies and advocacy so that one day all babies will be born healthy.

“This will be an experience you won’t want to miss!” said Joe Kloeckner, southern division director, March of Dimes Nevada Chapter. “With 40 of Las Vegas’ best chefs in one room, we invite everyone to bring a big appetite to benefit our most tiny treasures. Let’s be champions for all babies.”

Host Executive Chef, Tom Moloney of AquaKnox at The Venetian is just one of 40 chefs that will be preparing signature dishes and exemplary culinary fare at the event.

March of Dime’s Signature Chefs of Las Vegas 2008 is presented by The Venetian Foundation, Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada and Desert Springs Pools and Spas. Additional sponsors include The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, Nevada State Bank, Royal Printing, General Growth Properties, Sysco Foods, and Southwest Airlines.
