Mark Shunock Announces October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) Edition of “Mondays Dark” to Benefit The Healing Curve with “Women Who Rock”
Mark Shunock
has announced that the October edition of “Mondays Dark” will take place on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Following the success of last month’s “Gone Country” night, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the October show will benefit The Healing Curve – a nonprofit initiative to help women who have beaten breast cancer but are left with scars and loss of breast tissue. The on-stage showcase-themed and titled “Women Who Rock,” will feature Gretchen Bonaduce, Savannah Smith, Rockie Brown, Justin Mortelliti, Jaime Lynch and others to be announced, all in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Last month’s ‘Gone Country’ night was a huge success and this month’s ‘Women Who Rock’ themed show shouldn’t be missed,” says Shunock, who plays Lonny in the hit “Rock of Ages” at the Venetian. “October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to be able to partner with Dr. Gary Motykie and his organization is a thrill. There are a lot of fun surprises this month that you have to witness, but I can tell you that ‘Boobies Rock’ t-shirts will be available! I’m sure this month will sell out early.”

Every month Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of guests including stars from Hollywood, the Strip, musical acts, athletes and celebrity chefs for 90 minutes of chat, entertainment – and a lot of laughs. “Mondays Dark” partners with a different Las Vegas-based charity to raise money each month for that charity, between ticket sales and silent auction items. Previous charities to benefit from Mondays Dark include Opportunity Village and AFAN (AID FOR AID of NEVADA), Nevada SPCA and the St. Therese Center HIV Outreach, The Shine Family Foundation, and The Miracle League of LV.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 at the door, and can be purchased by visiting www.MondaysDark.com and are limited to 300 tickets per event. For more information please call 702-485-1262. Follow us on Twitter @Mondays_Dark. To donate silent auction items please call 702-485-1262.
