Sponsored by the ridesharing service Lyft, guests celebrated the beginning of 2016 at the winter pool party that featured the big games on Marquee’s 40-foot LED screen in the main room.

DJ Daddy Kat kicked off his 2016 residency with TAO Group Friday night at TAO Nightclub. Fueling up at the restaurant, the DJ delighted in the miso glazed sea bass, fried rice, short ribs and lamb special before heading into the club for his set. Taking over the DJ booth, Daddy Kat

Also at TAO Asian Bistro Friday night was Dancing with the Stars professionals Mark Ballas and Derek Hough who were joined by friends. The group enjoyed the spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice, Peking duck and miso glazed sea bass before heading into the nightclub to dance the night away. At another table was pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen who shared a selection of signature items including the drunken lobster pad thai with friends. Lastly, the pop rock band R5 delighted in the chicken wings, sausage fried rice and wasabi filet mignon.
Joining the party at TAO Nightclub was Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles who celebrated the new year with friends.
