Martorano’s Masters World Pasta Eating Championship to Debut at Paris Las Vegas
On Saturday, October 17 at 1 p.m., Major League Eating and Martorano’s at Paris Las Vegas will partner to present the first Martorano’s Masters World Pasta Eating Championship (Pictured: Martorano’s Linguini)

Taking place under the picturesque Arc De Triomphe at Paris Las Vegas, the contest will bring 12 professional and amateur competitive eaters together to eat as much Martorano’s signature pasta as they can in 8 minutes. Participants will include current Major League Eating Champion, Matt Stonie, and other notable eaters. The event is free and open to the public.

The iconic South Philadelphia cook Steve Martorano will host the event in honor of National Pasta Month and the first anniversary of his restaurant at Paris Las Vegas. Martorano and Stonie will both be available for interviews after the championship.

Prizes include $2000 for first place, $1000 for second place, $500 for third place $350 for 4th place and $150 for 5th place. Eaters looking to participate in the championship can register here.

After the contest, an anniversary dinner will take place at the restaurant with a number of Martorano’s famous friends at 8 p.m. For reservations call 702-279-4934.

Martorano’s at Paris Las Vegas is open for dinner is from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5 p.m. through 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The late night menu is offered starting at 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
