Marv “Mr. Electric” Roy, Shawn Farquhar and MURRAY Backstage at The Tropicana

It was a huge thrill for Murray to have both of his mentors in the audience at the same time and it will probably never happen again as one is from Vancouver, Canada – Murray’s hometown – and the other is from Palm Springs (Pictured above: Shawn Farquhar, Murray SawChuck and Marv Roy backstage at The Tropicana).
Shawn Farquhar, Murray’s first mentor from the age of 12 years old and Marvyn Roy aka ‘Mr. Electric’ who toured the world for 50 years with his wife Carol and was one of the most famous cabarets acts of his time, performing on the Ed Sullivan show, Tonight Show and almost every major hotel casino in the world along with the Lido in Paris, France. Also, Murray’s mom came into town for Murray and Chloe’s surprise wedding. Murray’s Dad is back home in Burnaby, BC, recovering from heart surgery but is doing great.
