will celebrate his eponymous restaurant’s first anniversary at MGM Grand November 3-4 with a weekend full of opportunities for guests to hang out with the famed Japanese chef and star of Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.” 

“Las Vegas has been so good to me this past year, I wanted to repay the favor,” said Chef Morimoto. “I look forward to spending this special weekend with my fans who have made this such a memorable year.”

  • Book Signing – Saturday, November 4: Beginning at 3 p.m., Chef Morimoto will join the iconic golden lion in MGM Grand’s lobby to sign copies of his latest cookbook, Mastering the Art of Japanese Home Cooking. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at MGM Grand’s lobby store, Grand & Company. Culinary buffs will have the opportunity to take pictures with Chef Morimoto, and have a cookbook or personalized photo signed by the Iron Chef himself.
  • $300 Seven-Course Pairing Feast – Friday, November 3 & Saturday, November 4: Since Friday’s anniversary feast sold out in 48 hours, Chef Morimoto’s is extending the celebration to Saturday, November 4, with an additional 60-seat dinner. The seven-course meal features fan favorites – including the Toro Tartare and White Truffle Wagyu Beef Carpaccio – along with opulent wine pairings, capped off with a pour of Louis XIII to end the evening. Tickets, priced at $300, are available for purchase via MGM Grand’s website. Price includes applicable taxes and gratuity.
