Comedian Mike Hammer will welcome his friends, Singer/Producer Jeff Timmons, Producer/Star Jennifer Romas & Cast of “Sexxy”, and “Magic vs. Music” Stars Jarrett & Raja to the 3rd Annual Mike Hammer Celebrity Go-Kart Race, a charity event benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project and three veterans’ charities in Las Vegas, on October 22 with a Celebrity Red Carpet from 12 noon and Celebrity Go-Kart Racing from
1-3pm at Gene Woods Racing Experience in Las Vegas.

Jeff Timmons is the founding member of the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling vocal group 98 Degrees, which has sold over 15 million albums, with four Top 5 radio singles. The group has produced such mega hits as “The Hardest Thing”, “I Do”, “Because of You”, and the No. 1 hit single “Thank God I Found You,” which is a collaboration with Mariah Carey.
After his stellar success with 98 Degrees, Jeff has ventured out as a soloist, and single-handedly wrote and produced his first solo album which was released as a joint venture with Rising Phoenix and SLG Music. The album’s first single produced a top 20 hit on both the Billboard adult contemporary and R&B charts with the song “Whisper That Way.”
This song reached No. 1 in many major markets out-performing Usher’s “Burn”, and Alicia Keys “If I Ain’t Got You.” The album also produced three additional chart-topping singles worldwide. In 2010, a single entitled “Emotional High” leaked to the radio international and went No. 1 in 14 countries.
Jeff is hard at work writing his first book, recording a new album, as well as pursuing film and television opportunities. He has also been involved in the creation of the “Men of the Strip” revue, a process documented in a 2014 docusoap film of the same name, produced for the E! network. The Men of the Strip performers are required to sing and dance in shows, at times performing with Timmons who also sometimes acts as MC.

Jarrett & Raja Star in “Magic vs. Music” at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino
Reality TV stars and critically acclaimed magician and pianist duo, Jarrett & Raja, are currently the headliners at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Known for their theatrical magic and strong musical content, the guys are unique stars on the Las Vegas Strip.
This talented duo recently appeared on ABC’s hit TV show “Shark Tank” where they performed and stood before Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, and Robert Herjavec. Jarrett & Raja were one of only 140 entrepreneurs selected from over 43,000 applicants to the ABC show, produced by Mark Burnett Productions.
The magic/music team has also been seen on NBC’s #1 prime time show, “America’s Got Talent” as semifinalists and were Howie Mandel’s favorite Wild Card pick (season 7) where they produced a full orchestra on stage. They also appeared in SyFy’s “Wizard Wars” with Penn & Teller (2014), BBC’s “The Slammer” (2013), and all four seasons of The CW’s “Masters of Illusion” hosted by Dean Cain (2014 – 2017). They’ll be appearing on The CW for a Christmas Special in Dec., 2017.
Magician Jarrett Parker worked under the legendary Harry Blackstone, Jr. and was mentored by the creative mind behind Doug Henning and numerous Broadway hits, Charles Reynolds. Currently he and Raja work with the brilliant mind of the legendary magic consultant, Johnny Thompson.
Pianist Raja Rahman is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he studied with Seymour Lipkin, Jerome Lowenthal, Byron Janis, and Lev Vlassenko. Raja has toured Europe with legendary conductors Mstislav Rostropovich, Sir Georg Solti, and Iona Brown. In addition, he has taught at The Juilliard School and currently teaches privately in Las Vegas. Raja is a also an active concert pianist with frequent appearances at the Met in NYC. He performed on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in October of 2015.
In partnership with Red Mercury Entertainment, Jarrett & Raja begin a two year deal at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino on October 18, 2017. The guys began their first Vegas residency at Hooters Casino in March of 2017 with the expectation of staying there for about a year. The duo received two offers from different Las Vegas properties in July. They chose the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino for its remarkable theatre with optimum seating capacity (500). Due to open mid-October of this year, August and September have been spent in pre-production adapting the show to the new venue. Returning to the show is the amazing singing of JR Phelps and the powerful musical support of Jeffrey Neiman. The guys bring their fun filled act to the Stratosphere stage with a set by Emmy Award winning set designer, Andy Walmsley.
Jeff Timmons, Jennifer Romas and Jarrett & Raja will join dozens of other celebrities and VIPs who will attend this event to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Las Vegas-based veterans’ organizations R.W.B. Dog Tags, Forgotten Not Gone and The Nathan Tyler Davis Foundation.
