Melody Sweets Presents “Coney Island! Burlesque at the Beach!” Aug. 28 at ABSINTHE’s Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace
Sexy thrills and treats, oh my! ABSINTHE’s dazzling Green Fairy, Melody Sweets, will transform the ABSINTHE Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace from vaudeville spectacular to a sideshow by the sea in her latest burlesque production “Coney Island! Burlesque at the Beach!” on Friday, Aug. 28.
For one-night-only, guests will be treated to a Coney Island-inspired night of delight featuring a performance by Sweets and several special guests. Doors open at midnight and attendees must be 18+. Tickets are on sale now at MelodySweets.com.
Following the success of her most recent production, “Big Top Circus and Burlesque,” Sweets invites revelers to dive into a night filled with sizzling performances, special surprises and perhaps even a little sand! Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a traditional hot dog-eating contest for a chance to win one pair of tickets to see ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace, as well as enjoy carnival-themed games and pre-show attractions provided by Skin City and more in front of the Spiegeltent.

- Miss Exotic World, LouLou D’vil as “Tattooed Lady”
- Hair suspension artist, Fancy Chance
- Maria Sarah-Popazova as “Madame Maria Bendarina”
- Burlesque performer, Nasty Canasta as “Hoochie Kooch”
- The Risley Brothers
- and a very special guest appearance by a “friend” of ABSINTHE’s Joy Jenkins
“Coney Island! Burlesque at the Beach!” will feature live music by an all-star band, including Eric Plante of O by Cirque Du Soleil, Steven Lee of Donny and Marie, Mike Benigno of MJ Live! and others.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets are available for purchase for $20 at MelodySweets.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $30. All proceeds from the event will benefit Coney Island’s Sideshow by the Seashore and the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
Melody Sweets has had music featured on MTV, VH1, A&E and National Geographic on hit shows such as Celebrity Fit Club and PUNK’D. A lover of the arts, Melody Sweets has had the privilege of performing for and collaborating with such acclaimed artists including STING, Björk, Moby, Alice Cooper, The Bravery, Marc Jacobs, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Adriana Lima and Harvey Keitel. Sweets’ debut album Burlesque in the Black, released in 2013, features popular hits performed nightly in ABSINTHE including “Slice of Heaven,” “Taboo” and “Up All Night,” as well as a collection of other songs composed exclusively for Sweets’ burlesque journey across the globe.”
