Mike Epps to Perform at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort Feb. 15, 2014
Comedian and actor Mike Epps returns to The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort with his comedy tour “Mike Epps LIVE!” on Feb.15, 2014 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $44, plus any additional service fees.

Mike Epps has generated an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers and within the entertainment industry for being one of the funniest comedic actors to emerge into the Hollywood scene.

He was awarded his first NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Sony Pictures film, “Jumping the Broom.” He recently starred in the Warner Brothers comedy “Hangover 3” and in 2012 starred in Sony’s “Sparkle” opposite Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks. He can soon be seen in the Nina Simone bio-pic “Nina” starring opposite Zoe Saldana playing the legendary Richard Prior who opened for the singer in the early 1960’s.

In 2010, Mike also starred in his third stand up special “Mike Epps: Underrated and Never Faded” and “Mike Epps Presents…” both which aired on Showtime. He released his first comedy rap album called “Funny Bidness: Da Album,” which featured Snoop Dogg, Kid Rock and Slim Thug to name a few. That year also marked the release of his comedy DVD “Funny Bidness.”

Since 2000, Epps has steadily climbed his way up the stand-up comedy ranks when he was recognized by a national audience in 1995 when he appeared on the Def Comedy Jam tour and on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. During a performance at LA’s Comedy Store, Epps caught the attention of Ice Cube. That meeting led to the first of three feature films they would do together; the cult hits “Next Friday,” “Friday after Next,” and the New Line comedy “All About the Benjamins.” He also starred in the Warner Brothers break out comedy “The Hangover” in 2009.

Other features include the Paramount comedy, “The Fighting Temptations,” “Resident Evil: Apocalypse,” “Bait,” “How High,” and the voice of Sonny in “Dr.Dolittle 2.”
