Minus5 Ice Bar at Monte Carlo Kicks Off Summer with Ice-Cold Promotion

Minus5 Ice Bar and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas are welcoming the first day of summer with a sizzling contest sure to help one lucky winner stay cool while rolling like a VIP in the hottest city in the U.S.

As the mercury rises, Minus5 Ice Bar at Monte Carlo wants one lucky winner to “Beat The Heat” by offering a revitalizing VIP experience to the first person who correctly guesses when the temperature hits 111 degrees in Las Vegas. In addition to being pampered in Sin City, a lucky winner also will also have a cocktail named after them and put on display, along with the winner’s photo, for the rest of 2011. The winner of the Beat the Heat promotion wins the following (certain rules and limitations apply):

• Luxury VIP package at Minus5 Ice Bar that includes frosty cocktails served in cups made from 100% New Zealand ice, use of a faux fur coat, gloves and boots during the visit; and an Eskimo hat to take home.
• Free entrance for the winner and a guest for the rest of 2011 to any Minus5 Ice Bar location in the world.
• A cocktail to be created and named after the winner available at both Las Vegas Minus5 locations, Mandalay Bay and Monte Carlo, for the rest of the year. Additionally, a photo of the winner and the cocktail will be framed in ice at both Las Vegas Minus5 locations.
• A VIP weekend at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, including a two-night hotel stay, a cabana at the pool, dinner for two at The Pub at Monte Carlo and a pair of tickets to see dance sensation, Jabbawockeez.
