Minus5 Ice Experience Donates Custom-Made Coats to Keep Veterans Warm Across the Country
On a chilly winter night in New Jersey, veterans were able to stay warm with custom-made coats courtesy of Minus5 Ice Experience. In honor of the holiday spirit, the icy attraction donated over 250 coats to veterans who formerly served in the United States military, complete with an American flag on the back.

“At Minus5 Ice Experience we pride ourselves on giving back to the community and in the dead of wintertime, we wanted to pay it forward and give back to our military in need,” says Noel Bowman, president of Minus5 Management Co. “With many cold days ahead, we repurposed our Minus5 coats with American Flags and donated them to the many men and women who served our country – allowing those in need to keep warm this winter.”

Known as the coolest experience in Las Vegas, Minus5 Ice Experience welcomes over 300,000 guests each year into the winter wonderland experience and allow guests to suit up in cozy parkas and gloves to stay warm. Now in its 11th year, the icy attraction has donated over one million pairs of gloves, and 6,000 faux fur coats and parkas to various charities around Las Vegas and beyond.
