Miranda Lambert to Perform at The Pearl with Eric Church and Josh Kelley Dec. 10

Award-winning country songstress Miranda Lambert is set to perform during NFR with special guests Eric Church and Josh Kelley at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00 p.m.

Miranda Lambert recently made history when she was nominated for nine CMA Awards, the most for a female country music artist. Not bad for coming in third in the first season of Nashville Star which set up preconceptions about just what kind of artist she’d turn out to be. Kerosene, Lambert’s 2005 platinum debut, put her in an exclusive club as one of only seven artists in the history of SoundScan to come out of the box at #1on the country sales chart with a debut album putting any wavering thoughts to rest.

Critical support was immediately forthcoming: Kerosene was named one of the year’s 10 best albums by the New York Times, Rolling Stone and CMT.com, among many others. She picked up key nominations for the CMAs, Grammys, CMT Awards and other honors.

In 2007, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also debuted at #1 on the country chart. After a slew of top 20 singles, the sophomore album generated her first top 10 hit, “Gunpowder and Lead.” It was named one of the top 10 albums of the year by Entertainment Weekly and Blender and won Album of the Year at the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Lambert’s biggest hits have tended to be her boldest songs, so she’s not about to put a lid on it now. With the release of the 25-year-old’s third album, Revolution, on one end of the gamut lies the hard-rocking, vengeful “Sin for a Sin,” co written by Lambert with Blake Shelton, at the other end is the tender but still thoroughly realistic “Love Song,” co written with Shelton and two members of Lady Antebellum.

A room and show package is available for this show. The package includes two tickets with prime seating in the mezzanine, a Deluxe room for the night (based on double occupancy) and two complimentary drinks for the price of $359.

This event is presented in association with Andrew Hewitt and Live Nation.
