Miss Nevada USA Organization Announces MGM Grand Las Vegas as New Sponsor for 2015 Pageant

The luxurious resort will serve as the host hotel for the 2015 pageants Friday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov 23.

“We are thrilled to have the support of MGM Grand for our 2015 pageants,” said Executive Director of the Miss Nevada USA Organization, Shanna Moakler. “The hotel is gorgeous and will certainly provide our contestants and their families with an unforgettable experience during pageant weekend.”

With young women traveling from all over Nevada, the hotel will act as the main hub for the contestants, with close proximity to the pageant venue at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus. As the host hotel and sponsor for the Miss Nevada USA Pageant, the MGM Grand will provide the participating contestants and their families with discounted room rates during the pageant weekend, as well as a rehearsal space in the hotel’s ballrooms for the contestants to prep for the pageant.

The Miss Nevada USA and Miss Nevada Teen USA pageants serve as official preliminary competitions to the country’s renowned pageant system, the Miss Universe Organization, owned by Donald Trump. With an annual pageant held in January, two new titleholders are chosen to represent the great state of Nevada. Executive state director, Shanna Moakler, brings her experience as a TV star and former Miss USA to Nevada. Since Moakler joined the Miss Nevada USA organization in 2012, the pageant has received a complete makeover, giving Nevada notoriety with a Top 5 placement and Top 10 placement at Miss USA.
