More Than 12,000 Vans Warped Tour Fans to Take over Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, June 29
This Friday, June 29, more than 12,000 rock fans will take over Downtown Las Vegas Events Center for the Las Vegas stop of the Vans Warped Tour ‘18. As a result, a number of adjacent roads will close over the next two days in anticipation of the event. 

Beginning Thursday, June 28, three Downtown Las Vegas streets will be shut down leading up to the opening of the music event, including:

  • 3rd Street – Closed beginning Thursday, June 28th at 6 p.m.
  • Carson Street – Closed beginning Thursday, 28th at 6 p.m.
  • Bridger Street – Closed beginning Thursday, June 28th at 6 p.m.

All road closures will reopen Saturday, June 30 at 6 a.m.

This will mark one of the highest attendance numbers for an event for the Downtown Las Vegas venue. Fans are advised to get there early, with doors opening at 11 a.m.

For its final run, the tour will welcome back countless bands who have rocked Vans Warped Tour over the last 24 years including Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, Four Year Strong, 3OH!3, We The KingsThe UsedTonight AliveKnuckle Puck, Mayday Parade, This Wild Life, Falling in Reverse, Issues, The Maine, Black Veil Brides and more. Adding to this year’s lineup are up-and-coming acts such as State Champs, Trash Boat, Don Broco, Grayscale, Waterparks, Real Friendsand Movements.

The Vans Warped Tour is the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Originally conceived by founder Kevin Lyman in 1995 as an eclectic alternative rock festival, with a focus on punk rock, over the years the tour has grown to include a multitude of genres, including metal, hip hop, reggae, pop and more.
