The delectable design was created by Caked Las Vegas and featured a 3 foot tall guitar, some of the band’s signature album covers and a replica of Neil’s custom 1932 Ford Coupe hot rod currently on display inside Hard Rock Hotel. The Mötley Crüe singer was in complete shock as the cake was rolled out on stage during the band’s live show. To add to the excitement, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee led the pumped up crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” The celebration continued late into the show when Neil joined Lee for a birthday ride on his signature 360 drum coaster.

Mötley Crüe in Sin City kicked off at The Joint on Friday, Feb. 3, which was also declared Mötley Crüe Day by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. The one-of-a-kind production of this first hard rock residency to ever hit Las Vegas transforms The Joint into a rock ‘n’ roll carnival extravaganza, combining elements of Mötley Crüe arena shows with Tommy Lee’s 360 drum coaster and the biggest lighting and sound production ever brought to the venue including the band’s over-the-top signature pyrotechnics, as well as acrobats, little people and even a unique hologram stunt.
