Murray Performs for Sold-Out Crowd at The Purple Room in Palm Springs
Comedy Magician Murray SawChuck is taking a few weeks off from his resident show at the Laugh Factory in Tropicana Hotel & Casino to shoot a few more Pawn Stars episodes, a few pilots and do some one nighters around the USA (Pictured: Murray SawChuck (center) with owners Mark Van Laanen and Tony Marchese at The Purple Room in Palm Springs).
One of his first stops was last night in Palm Springs at the historic supper club of the 1960’s, The Purple Room. It’s the place where Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr. would hang out, chill, have a drink and sing a few songs on stage. Palm Springs was their playground in the sun.
Murray said, “I love old Hollywood and that era of the entertainment scene! There was so much class, talent, and style to being a star in the 50’s and 60’s and to play one of the last and only original supper clubs of that era in Palm Springs was such an honor. Then to find out we sold our show out was even better news!”
