Murray Surprises Deana Martin (Dean Martin’s Daughter) on Stage in Las Vegas
Deana Martin (Dean Martin’s daughter) is in town this week performing at the South Point Hotel & Casino singing her Dad’s classic songs and talking about the days of yesteryear.

One of the most memorable bits from he dad’s television show was the door he had on stage and anyone at anytime could walk through… and most of the time Dean never knew who it would be.

Deana has created that in her show and who walked through to greet her last night was Murray SawChuck, star of Murray ‘Celebrity Magician’ at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. His opening line when he walked on stage was classic… Murray said, “I see most of you looking at me going wow… If Dean Martin and Phyllis Diller had a baby… this is it!” It brought the house down and was so fitting for last night’s show.

Murray walked on stage with a newspaper and did his signature newspaper tear where he restored a ripped up newspaper, then he crumpled it in a ball and it ripped in half to producer out of nowhere a bottle of champagne welcoming Deana back to Las Vegas!
Murray stated, “I was honored to be asked by Deana’s husband John to surprise her on stage. It’s always strange being a magician and popping up on another artist’s show who is a singer or something other than a variety act since you want to do a bit that ties it into THEIR show so it’s about them … not you! So I was honored to be apart of her show and I am such a huge fan as many people are of her father Dean!”
