MURRAY The Magician drops by Three Charities in One Day to Show his Support

Yesterday, accompanied by his dear friend Lenny Windsor (Comedian and writer of the famed Benny Hill Show) and show producer Blair Farrington (Dressed as the Mad Hatter / Ringmaster) paid a visit to The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. All the families and children received free VIP tickets to Murray’s show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Next they were invited to a ‘High Tea’ to the famed vocalist Jewel’s benefit performance for Inspire which benefitted the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation at Lorenzi Park. Murray got to see their operation, met all the amazing children in the organization, talked with Jewel, and gave all the kids and families complimentary tickets to his show.

After that it was off to his own show at Planet Hollywood, then off to the ShepFest along with host JJ Snyder from Las Vegas’ Morning Blend to support the German Shephard rescuers’ first annual fundraiser. Anyone who knows Murray and his affection for dogs knows that it wasn’t to hard to get him to show up to support the rescuing of these beautiful animals.

Murray is off on tour for two weeks as of Monday where he will be playing along with his sidekick ‘Lefty’ and his assistant April Leopardi at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood, California for 28 shows in 7 days, then it’s off to the Midwest.

He’ll be playing 3 casinos for the first week of June hitting Northwood Casino in Wisconsin, Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa and finishing in Sioux City, Iowa at the Hard Rock Casino. He’ll be returning to Vegas to kick in gear his summer shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Murray states, “It was really inspiring buzzing around to the various charity organizations as I have always admired Lance Burton, a legend in this town, for how much he supported local events and charities. I am just trying to follow in his footsteps as he set such a great example!”
