“Music for a Mission” Returns to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino During Friday Night Live at The Pool Concert Series
In its continued effort to support the local community, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is once again teaming up with local nonprofits for the return of Music for a Mission. The second-annual philanthropic initiative will take place during select performances at the Friday Night Live at the Pool concert series (Pictured: Mayer Hawthorne).
Beginning Friday, July 8, Hard Rock Hotel will donate three cabanas during each show to nonprofits that support Southern Nevada. Each organization is encouraged to auction the cabanas off to raise funds or to give to donors, volunteers and staff as a token of appreciation. In addition to the three complimentary cabanas, the property will provide all nonprofits with a credit that can be used for bottle service, cocktails and more.
Friday Night Live at the Pool offers an unforgettable experience with a dynamic music vibe and infamous tropical oasis. Guests can enjoy bar bites, beverages, music and a party atmosphere in front of The JBL Sound Stage or in a VIP, poolside cabana.

- Mayer Hawthorne – Friday, July 8: HELP of Southern Nevada
HELP of Southern Nevada operates nine departments, consists of 112 employees and serves more than 100,000 unduplicated clients each year. The services HELP provides assist low-income families, homeless teens and adults among other individuals, to become more self-sufficient through direct services, trainings and referrals. Programs available include Shannon West Homeless Youth Center, Emergency Resources Services, Framing Hope Warehouse, Weatherization, Community Alternative Sentencing, Work Opportunities Readiness Center, Holiday Assistance and Homeless Outreach. - Eagles of Death Metal – Friday, July 22: Opporrtunity Village
Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people in our community with significant intellectual disabilities, enriching their lives and the lives of the families who love them by providing meaningful work and life experiences. Voted by Las Vegas Review-Journal readers for “Best Community Organization,” Opportunity Village is Nevada’s largest employer of people with disabilities. Serving nearly 3,000 individuals annually, Opportunity Village provides its clients with vocational training, employment, habilitation and social recreation programs and services to make their lives more productive and meaningful.
To meet the growing demand for services, the organization recently launched a Capital Campaign to raise $136 million, which will be used to fulfill several key initiatives, including the development of its first residential facility at the Engelstad campus, followed by a new campus and residential facility in the North Valley.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization that operates 14 facilities and two summer outreach programs in Southern Nevada, and serves more than 22,000 youth in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Southern Highlands and Summerlin. These Clubhouses offer children ages K-12th grade a variety of daily creative, fun and educational programs. Established in 2007 to provide hunger relief, Three Square Food Bank offers wholesome, nutritious food to nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans. A national model project inspired by Founder Eric Hilton with a grant provided by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Three Square is a community collaborative partnership with businesses, nonprofit agencies, food distributors, higher education institutions, the Clark County School District, governmental entities, the media and thousands of volunteers to efficiently and effectively work together to serve those in our community struggling with hunger. Three Square currently provides more than 38 million pounds of food and grocery product – the equiivalent of more than 31 million meals – per year to a neetwork of more than 1,300 community partners. Founded in 2009, Dress for Success Southern Nevada is the local affiliate of the international non-profit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Southern Nevada has helped over 3,500 women work towards self-sufficiency in the Las Vegas valley through its various programs and provided more than 3,000 career outfits to qualifying women. In 2015, the organization suited more than 700 women in Southern Nevada, setting a record for the highest number of women assisted in a single year since the organization began.
