Music of Jimi Hendrix Brought to Life by Music Legends on Nov. 1

The music of the legendary Jimi Hendrix will be brought to life inside The Pearl Concert Theater with the Experience Hendrix Tour on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 8:00 p.m.

Fans of all ages will be able to experience the live magic that is the music of rock icon Jimi Hendrix through this unique tour. Founded by Experience Hendrix, LLC – the family’s company which manages the name, likeness, image and music of Hendrix – this tour features an all-star group coming together to perform Hendrix hits such as “Voodoo Child,” “Red House” and “Hey Joe.” With acoustic and electric performances, the tribute band includes legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy, The Doors’ guitarist Robbie Krieger, blues and rock guitarists Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd as well as Eric Gales, rock guitarist Eric Johnson, blues guitarists Hubert Sumlin and Mato Nanji, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble’s drummer Chris Layton, Lightning Hopkins’ drummer Doyle Bramhall, Los Lobos’ David Hidalgo and Caesar Rosas and Jimi Hendrix Experience alums Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox. Musical greats in their own rights, these artists will bring the creative and musical influence that is Hendrix to an intimate setting inside The Pearl.

Presented by Andrew Hewitt and Live Nation, tickets for Experience Hendrix are $48.00, $58.00 and $78.00, plus any additional service fees. Tickets go on-sale Saturday, September 20 at noon.
