Mystic Falls Park Makes the Season Bright with Return of Winter Wonderland and Laser Light Show
Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall
lit up its celebrated winter display at Mystic Falls Park on Wednesday, Nov. 21, following its annual tree lighting ceremony hosted by Boyd Gaming Executive Chairman Bill Boyd (Pictured: Bill Boyd and Councilman Steve Seroka join service members and Santa for tree lighting).

As part of Sam’s Town’s holiday tradition for more than 20 years, the holiday attraction features a Winter Wonderland theme and holiday-inspired laser light show, available for visitors to enjoy through Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019.

The festive, holiday-themed attraction at Mystic Falls Park is a time-honored tradition that goes back to 1994. The seasonal décor will begin in Sam’s Town’s porte-cochere with decorative snowflakes leading guests through the property to Mystic Falls Park. Garland streams, wreath-adorned lampposts and snow-covered trees fill the atrium, with decorations offering guests a glimpse inside Santa’s workshop, from elves making toys to loading up Santa’s sleigh with goodies for children.

A nine-minute laser light show is the centerpiece of the display, featuring a variety of classic holiday songs, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Let It Snow,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Performances run every hour, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Adding to the wintery experience, Mystic Falls Park will make it snow in the Las Vegas desert every night through the new year.

Santa will also join in the festivities by visiting the Mystic Falls Park gazebo, beginning Friday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Dec. 23 on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8:30 p.m.

Sam’s Town is also bringing back its annual tradition of hosting a cell phone drive, benefiting the national nonprofit organization, Cell Phones for Soldiers. Guests are encouraged to bring cell phones and chargers to the B Connected desk or hotel front desk through Wednesday, Nov. 30. Each donation worth $5 provides a service member with nearly two and a half hours of free talk time. Guests who donate cell phones will receive one free dining coupon to Firelight Buffet with the purchase of another buffet.
