Ne-Yo to Perform at The Pearl at The Palms Feb. 5
Grammy-award winner Ne-Yo is set to perform at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Thursday, February 5, 2009 as part of the Year of the Gentleman Tour with special guest Jazmine Sullivan.
In 2006, Ne-Yo hit the R&B scene with a style all his own – a mix of classic sounds with a modern twist. His debut album In My Own Words hit #1 on the Billboard 200 and solidified his role as an artist to watch. The Las Vegas native’s sophomore album, Because of You (2007), also peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and brought Ne-Yo much acclaim when we won Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards.
The most recent album, Year of the Gentleman (2008), brings fans the amazing songwriting and soulful sounds they have come to expect from Ne-Yo. The album’s first single “Closer” sets the tone with a mix of class and funk and reached #1 on numerous Billboard charts.
