Nearly $1 Million of 2013 World Series of Poker Championship Made by Jason of Beverly Hills
Famed Jason of Beverly Hills founder and designer Jason Arasheben – known for creating edgy and lavish statement jewelry for celebrities and athletes including Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and LeBron James – returns as the exclusive championship jewelry designer for the 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) (Photo credit: Jason of Beverly Bills)

The 2013 WSOP Main Event bracelet includes more than 28 carats of brilliant white diamonds – including two black diamonds and two rubies to represent each card suit – set within more than 220 grams of 14-carat white gold. The masterpiece required 250 hours of labor to design and produce.

For the first time, the WSOP Main Event bracelet will also be customized to the winner, as the bracelet design includes the two “hole cards” dealt during the WSOP Main Event final hand. Immediately after the event, Arasheben will laser cut each card to correspond to the winning hand of the new World Champion.

“WSOP is a high stakes tournament for risk takers. Poker players constantly have to make bold moves and are unafraid to take on a challenge. The design of the 2013 WSOP Main Event bracelet fully embodies that attitude,” said Jason Arasheben, founder of Jason of Beverly Hills. “This piece truly is the definitive sports trophy.”

In addition to the WSOP Main Event bracelet, Jason of Beverly Hills designed and created the 74 championship bracelets awarded throughout the tournament, including all Las Vegas designs, as well as jewelry for the WSOP Asia-Pacific in Melbourne, Australia and the WSOP Europe event in Paris, France.

The approximate appraisal value of all 2013 WSOP bracelets is nearly $1,000,000 – including the Main Event bracelet, which is considered among the most expensive pieces of championship jewelry across all major sports.

“The WSOP bracelets have a different feel than other championship jewelry we have designed,” continued Arasheben, who also developed the 2009 and 2010 world championship rings for the Los Angeles Lakers. “When we began our relationship with the WSOP in 2012, I was immediately drawn in to its style, vibe and prestige, as it is perfectly in line with the design aesthetic of the pieces offered in our showrooms. We’re honored to continue working with WSOP for a second year.”

“Jason brings the wow factor like no one else,” said Ty Stewart, Executive Director of the World Series of Poker. “I didn’t think it was possible to top last year, but Jason’s creativity to customize this year’s design to the winning moment has proven me wrong. We’re proud to award the biggest individual prize of any event competition, and we’re privileged to partner with a man who just raised the bar for championship jewelry.”
