Neil Diamond Tour to Stop at MGM Grand Garden Arena Jan. 2

Due to overwhelming demand for the “can’t miss” concert event of 2008, Neil Diamond has added a third leg to his 2008-09 North American tour to satisfy his legions of fans. The legendary singer, songwriter and performer’s tour will stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Friday, Jan. 2. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

With a career spanning four decades long including more than 125 million records sold worldwide, 36 Top 40 hits, a Grammy, a Golden Globe and thousands of sold-out shows around the globe, Diamond remains one of the most vital and innovative forces in modern music. His current shows feature classics such as “Sweet Caroline,” “I’m a Believer,” and “Cherry, Cherry,” as well as new songs from his critically acclaimed album, Home Before Dark, his second collaboration with renowned producer Rick Rubin. Home Before Dark, which offers a stripped-down, emotionally honest and passionately compelling approach, was released by Columbia Records on May 6 and debuted at No. 1, marking Diamond’s first ever chart-topping debut.
