Partygoers at the dazzling rooftop venue were first greeted by hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri, who informed the packed crowd that there were several surprises in store for part one of Nelly’s birthday weekend takeover. The crowd went wild when Dupri then introduced legendary R&B artist Bobby Brown, who took the stage for a surprise performance of his hit singles “My Prerogative” and “Every Little Step” with Nelly singing alongside.

The party continued long into the night with additional surprise performances by several of the most legendary names in the hip-hop and R&B game, including Too Short, Juelz Santana, Ying Yang Twins, Freeway, Carl Thomas, Mannie Fresh, Memphis Bleek, Ali, City Spud, and Jim Jones.

Revelers were treated to live performances of iconic songs by each artist, including “My Neck, My Back” by Khia, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” by Young Gunz, “Right Thurr” by Chingy, and many more. Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, and daughter, Chanelle “Nana” Hayes were both spotted looking stunning while dancing onstage throughout the night. Dungeon Family member Big Gipp was also seen arriving to the rooftop venue in Nelly’s entourage.

Before being presented with a custom three-tiered birthday cake by a bevy of beautiful Drai’s dancers, Nelly closed out the show with an electrifying set of some of his most popular tracks, including “Country Grammar,” “Grillz” and several more.
