New Menu Offerings and Online Ordering Available at Contento Pizzeria and Bar
A New Year brings in new additions to Contento Pizzeria and Bar, inside Jerry’s Nugget Casino. Popular and classic Italian dishes are added to the menu, along with an online ordering feature through chownow.com.
Now listed on the menu is crispy calamari ($13) – deep, fried squid served with marinara sauce for an appetizer. For healthy options, try one of the specialty salads like the Mediterranean chicken salad ($15), which comes with marinated chicken breast over a blend of iceberg, romaine lettuce and kale, tossed with Dijon lemon vinaigrette, fried pancetta, gorgonzola crumbles, and couscous. The Italian club ($12) is served panini-style and comes with all the Italian meat toppings – mortadella, prosciutto, and salami, plus mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and red wine vinaigrette. In addition, all paninis are served on homemade ciabatta bread and come with a side of house salad or rustic fries, also a new side item!
Added pasta dishes include Italian-American favorites – chicken alfredo ($14) and spaghetti e meatballs ($15). In the main entrée section, try Contento’s version of shrimp scampi ($16), sautéed shrimps in a white wine lemon butter sauce with garlic and cherry tomatoes. Also recommended is the pollo piccata ($15), chicken breast sautéed with white wine lemon butter sauce and capers, all tossed in rigatoni. Entrees come with fresh baked artisan bread. The new menu selections are available for both lunch and dinner.

Open since October 2017, Contento Pizzeria and Bar was created by two Italian pizza specialists, Giuseppe Conte (Contento General Manager) and Ismaele Romano (Contento Executive Chef).
