New Year’s Eve at The Light Group: Light Nightclub, HAZE and 1 OAK Nightclub

Turned on by Cirque du Soleil, LIGHT was filled with Cirque dancers putting on special performances for LIGHT. Maroon 5 members, including Adam Levine and fiance Behati Prinsloo, stopped by after their performance at Mandalay Bay. Levine also dined on sushi from critically acclaimed restaurant KUMI Japanese Restaurant + Bar, ordering long list of items before the big show.
HAZE – John Legend: Power couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen rang in 2014 at HAZE Nightclub in Las Vegas. The two counted down into the New Year with a big kiss. Legend sang his latest and greatest hits for the packed house. Legend celebrated with bottles of Dom Perignon and additional hugs and kisses with Teigen. Not only was the couple celebrating the New Year but Legend’s birthday as well with a huge piano cake.

1 OAK – J. Cole: 1 OAK Nightclub at Mirage said good bye to 2013 and hello to 2014 with a countdown and live performance by hip-hop recording artist, J. Cole. Cole and a large group of friends arrived at the nightclub at 11:30 p.m. The Roc Nation rapper was also accompanied by rumored fiancé, Melissa Heholt, who sported a sleek topknot and little black dress, but no apparent sparkler on her left hand.

Also Spotted: The cast and crew of the new E! reality show “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.” Members of the cast filmed at Brian Massie’s Stack Restaurant at Mirage and also at 1 Oak Nightclub for the season finale. “Rich Kids” is set to debut on Jan. 19.

The Bank Nightclub – Common: Earlier in the evening Common performed a sound check at the nightclub to prepare for the festivities. Then, it was off to FIX Restaurant & Bar for a pre-show dinner with friends. The Bank Nightclub rang in the New Year with a live performance by hip-hop artist and Hollywood actor Common. The group arrived at Bank at 11:15 p.m., with Common and his curvy date stopping to pose for photographers and adoring fans on the red carpet. The entourage was then escorted to a VIP table awaiting him the decadent club.
Also spotted: Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ cornerback Darrelle Revis celebrating the new year and Golden State Warrior player, Jermaine O’Neal.
