NFL legend Jerry Rice and local realtor Mahsheed Barghisavar were spotted at Morels in The Palazzo.
The two were discussing the upcoming A Starry Night event at Hyde on August 15 to raise money to grant Owen’s Make a Wish.

Owen has a rare form of muscular dystrophy that is slowly affecting his muscles and skeletal system. Like any 6 year old child, he loves sports and is extremely coordinated. This is especially significant because he does not have the strength or the ability to move like a typical 6 year old. Owen’s excellent coordination is evidenced by his ability to throw and catch a ball accurately, rarely fumbling. Despite his weak muscles, his ability to run is outstanding. As a result of his physical deficits, he is not comfortable, nor would it be safe, for him to play organized sports with other children. Even playgrounds present certain hazards for him due to his limitations. Owen is determined not to allow this to get in the way of his fight or spirit. Owen’s wish is to have his very own backyard sports sanctuary so he may fulfill his dreams of playing sports.
