Night Ranger to Perform Free Concert at Fremont Street Experience June 22

Take a stroll down “Sentimental Street” and join the crowd at Fremont Street Experience during the ‘Rock of Vegas’ summer concert series with a free concert by Night Ranger, Friday, June 22 at 9 p.m. on the 3rd Street Stage. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy free entertainment on three stages as the 100-day ‘Rock of Vegas’ summer concert series takes over downtown through Labor Day Weekend.

Night Ranger truly epitomizes the sound of the 80’s with their guitar-crunching, melodic brand of music and unparalleled talent, energy and creativity. Jack Blades, Brad Gillis and Kelly Keagy are responsible for penning some of the 80’s landmark hits for which this group is known. Night Ranger has one of the most defining and immediately recognizable power ballads of all time in “Sister Christian”. The similarly slowed tempos of “Sentimental Street” and “When You Close Your Eyes” contrast the guitar-driven radio juggernauts “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”. Night Ranger’s contributions are featured in multiple entertainment realms, including the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages” and hit video game series “Rock Band” and “Guitar Hero.” The band has also been recognized in such significant films and television shows as Boogie Nights and American Dad.

About ‘Rock of Vegas’ Summer Concert Series
‘Rock of Vegas’ Summer Concert Series will have something for everyone with three stages active every night. Fremont Street Experience’s concert series features free headliner concerts from an exciting lineup of high-voltage rock ‘n’ rollers including legendary singer of Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil, and the ultimate glam metal rocker, Dee Snider, singer of Twisted Sister. ROCK CANDY Sticky Sweet, an elaborately staged production show, and Dirty Pairadice, a cover band paying homage to the hair band era, take the stage five nights a week performing hits of the 1980s. ARENA, an 80s stadium rock tribute band will play Thursdays-Saturdays during the summer. Viva Vision screen lights up nightly with shows featuring tributes to some of rock’s greatest bands. The rockin’ concert series kicks off Memorial Day Weekend continuing through Labor Day Weekend.
