inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino announces its new locals Tasting Menu ($75) offered now through August. Nobu, known for its modern and authentic Japanese cuisine, unveils a decadent six-course menu that includes some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes.

Guests will delve into Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno, Tuna Sashimi Salad, Rock Shrimp Tempura drizzled in a creamy spicy sauce, Black Cod Miso, assorted sushi with Miso Soup, and chef’s choice dessert.

Created by Chef Nobu Matsushisa, the restaurant is a groundbreaking temple of Japanese cuisine with Peruvian influences.  Aside from its fine dining, Nobu’s interior design features bamboo pillars, wooden birch trees, a black river rock wall and a seaweed wall, replications of the décor found in the chef’s New York restaurant, TriBeCa. Other impressive details include the burnt ash tabletops to match the bamboo feature and a black rock at each table setting to hold chopsticks.

To receive the special, patrons must request the locals tasting menu, present a valid Nevada ID and Backstage Pass membership card. The menu cannot be shared, substituted or combined with any other discounts. Tax and gratuity are not included.

Backstage Pass membership is free and guests can conveniently sign up for the rewards program with valid photo ID at the property’s Backstage Pass desk located next to the main hotel registration.
