Official Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon 5k Sponsor SLS Las Vegas to Fuel Up Racers with Dining & Drink Discounts
SLS Las Vegas, the official sponsor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon 5k, will offer racers exclusive dining discounts and a three-course carb menu available from Friday, Nov. 10 through Sunday, Nov. 12.
With a Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon wristband, runners will receive a 20 percent discount at Katsuya; a 20 percent discount at Cleo; a 10 percent discount at 800 Degrees; a 10 percent discount or 2-for-1 draft beer at Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book; and a 10 percent discount at Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen will offer a three-course, carb-filled menu to help runners prepare for the race. The first course includes a choice of Caesar, farmers or chopped salad, roasted tomato or chicken noodle soup; choice of whole wheat penne primavera with chicken breast, rigatoni Bolognese, chicken parmesan or fettuccine alfredo with chicken breast for the second course; and a choice of an ice cream sundae, New York cheesecake or six-layer carrot cake for dessert. The menu is priced at $29.95 per person.
Saturday’s 5k event will begin and end at the festival grounds just west of the hotel-casino at Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. The 10k race on Sunday, Nov. 12 will kick off near SLS Las Vegas on Las Vegas Boulevard, and continue north into downtown before ending at Mirage Las Vegas.
