Original The Gap Band Member Charlie Wilson Heads to Primm Valley Resort & Casino
Tickets are now on sale for 11-time Grammy nominee and BET Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Charlie Wilson live in concert on Saturday, May 28 at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm.
As co-founder and lead vocalist of the R&B and funk group The Gap Band, Wilson soared to the top of the charts with hits including “Outstanding,” “You Dropped a Bomb on Me,” “Yearning For Your Love,” “Early in the Morning,” and “All of My Love.”
He went on to pursue a solo career adding number ones such as “My Love Is All I Have,” “You Are,” “There Goes My Baby,” “Charlie Last Name Wilson,” and “Without You.”
Most recently, Wilson received two Grammy nominations for his singing and songwriting contributions with Kanye West on “Bound 2.” Now adding best selling author to his list of accomplishments, Wilson’s memoir, “I Am Charlie Wilson,” is on the top of both the New York Times and Washington Post bestselling lists.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $32.11 and room packages including two concert tickets and a one-night stay at Buffalo Bills are available for $159.95 plus taxes and resort fees.
