Palms Pool & Dayclub Makes Waves with Return of “Cabanas for a Cause” Benefiting Nonprofit Charities in the Las Vegas Community
Beginning May 2, Palms Pool & Dayclub at Palms Casino Resort will honor nonprofit charities in the Las Vegas community through Cabanas for a Cause, an annual initiative donating a $100 rental fee to the featured charity of the week. The all-ages event will take place on select Mondays throughout summer.
The Cabanas for a Cause 2016 participant lineup is as follows:
- May 2 – The Neon Museum and Hopelink of Southern Nevada
- May 9 – Communities in Schools of Nevada
- May 16 – Muscular Dystrophy Association of Nevada
- May 23 – Junior League of Las Vegas
- June 6 – Las Vegas Rescue Center and The Aphasia Recovery Connection
- June 13 – Through the Eyes of a Child Foundation
- June 20 – Three Square Food Bank
- June 27 – Las Vegas Clark County Library District Foundation and Goodie Two Shoes Foundation
- July 11 – HELP of Southern Nevada
- July 18 – LV Academy Alumni Association
- July 25 – Friends of the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre Cause
- August 1 – The Center and Jewish Federation of Las Vegas
- August 8 – Dress for Success Southern Nevada
- August 15 – Epicurean Charitable Foundation
- August 22 – Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation and Las Vegas Boxer Club and Rescue
- August 29 – Special Olympics Nevada
Cabanas for a Cause attendees can relax in plush cabanas featuring spacious seating and 50-inch flat screen televisions equipped with Direct TV and a variety of gaming console options such as Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Wii U. Hungry pool-goers can also take advantage of the Hooters dining menu that offers a variety of delicious dishes and thirst quenching libations.
Supplemental donations to each charity can be accepted at each event as well.
Palms Pool & Dayclub is open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily with complimentary admission for local ladies seven days a week (excluding special events). Sunday – Thursday, complimentary admission for all guests (ages 17 and below must be with an adult). During Ditch Fridays (launching 5/6) and on Saturdays, admission is free before noon for hotel guests and starting at $10 non-local ladies and $20 for gentleman. On Fridays, Palms Pool & Dayclub guests must be 21+. On Saturdays, Palms Pool & Dayclub is all ages until 4/30, when every Saturday moving forward will be 21+.
