Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Cheap Trick Perform at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort
The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort was rockin’ Saturday night and it seemed all of Las Vegas came a knockin’! A co-headlining show by two rock institutes – Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Cheap Trick (Photo credit: David Becker / WireImage).

Benatar and Giraldo took the stage first with Benatar warning the crowd that they had just started the new tour so the audience would be their “guinea pigs tonight.” They went on to perform all their hits – trying to play one song from every era as Benatar explained “either you’ll drop dead or we will” referencing the group’s long history in the rock world. They told stories in between songs and Benatar belted out hits like Heartbreaker, Hit Me With Your Best Shot and We Belong.

Following a quick set changes which transformed the stage into a blur of checkered patterns, Cheap Trick took the stage full of energy performing hits including The Flame, On Top of the World and of course I Want You To Want Me. The group even performed their reworked version of Big Star’s “In the Street” – more commonly known as the theme song for the hit show That ’70s Show.
