Patti LaBelle to Perform at The Star of the Desert Arena in Primm
Tickets are on sale now for the legendary Patti LaBelle in concert on Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. Guests will enjoy LaBelle’s soulful R&B hits, including “Lady Marmalade” and “On My Own.” Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. 

LaBelle began her singing career as a choir member at Beulah Baptist Church, but soon became the lead vocalist for Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles. Later Labelle began a solo career after signing with Epic Records in 1977, when she also released her self-titled debut album, including hits “Joy to Have Your Love” and “Dan Swit Me” and the gospel ballad “You Are My Friend.” Her greatest hits album released in 1996 features other classics, including “If You Only Knew,” “Stir It Up,” and “Lady Marmalade.” LaBelle performed in the Broadway musical “Your Arms Too Short to Box with God” and is also a successful entrepreneur, author and humanitarian.  She has written five best-selling books and is an advocate for adoption, foster care, Big Sisters and the United Negro College Fund.
