Pizza Forte Opens Second Location at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
The city’s newest pizza concept, Pizza Forte, opened its second Las Vegas location at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
Just steps away from the property’s bustling pool scene, this new location is 1,200 square feet offering walk-up counter service seven days per week. The first Pizza Forte opened earlier this year at Sunset Station in Henderson, Nev.
Pizza Forte is the brand-new, casual quick-serve restaurant and the realized dream of Chef Mimmo Ferraro and his wife, Nikki. In addition to Pizza Forte, Mimmo is the executive chef for his family’s restaurant, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar. In 2015, the family celebrates its 30th year in Las Vegas; Ferraro’s remains the longest family owned and operated Italian restaurant in the city. The family’s goal is to open nine additional Pizza Forte locations within the next 18 to 24 months.
“The dream began while talking with friends and family about how we could develop a concept of real Italian food that was fresh AND fast. Nearly 10 years later, Pizza Forte became a reality,” says Chef Mimmo Ferraro.
THE MENU
Loosely translated from the Italian as “powerful pizza,” Pizza Forte offers New York-style pizza and square, Roman-style pan pizza by the slice with toppings including homemade sausage and fresh vegetables, as well as gluten-free options. In addition to freshly made pizza, fountain drinks, Italian soft drinks and desserts including cannolis and tiramisu, Pizza Forte also offers housemade meatball sandwiches and is the only Las Vegas dining venue to offer three varieties of Hofmann hot dogs: 100 percent beef, pork-and-beef and pork-and-veal varieties. The location also offers to-go items and hotel room delivery. Domestic and imported beer, as well as red and white wine will be available.
THE DECOR
The restaurant’s decor is old world meets new world with an industrial twist. Walls are lined with white-washed brick, while accent walls resemble reclaimed wood featuring baking pans and other cooking tools, as well as chalkboards with tongue-and-cheek drawings.
The Hard Rock Hotel location offers guest the option of placing orders at the walk-up counter or via room service, marking the first time hotel guests will be able to order pizza from an on-property restaurant every day of the week.
The brand new location is open starting at 11 a.m. daily.
