Plaza Hotel & Casino to Host After-Parties for First Friday Las Vegas March 2

The Plaza Hotel & Casino is offering special room rates as well as the official after-parties beginning at 11 p.m. on Friday, March 2, for the upcoming First Friday Las Vegas: “First Vegas Burn! The Flames of Change.” 

The First Friday Las Vegas arts and culture festival continues to draw crowds from around the valley and beyond for a night of art, music, food and more. The First Friday Las Vegas festival in March will feature the city’s first-ever public burn signifying a transition from the old to new way of doing things, bringing a new energy and spirit to the growing Downtown Las Vegas district.

Located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, the fully renovated Plaza offers First Friday attendees a convenient and comfortable place to stay as well as shuttle service to the festivities in the Arts District Hub and along Fremont Street East.

Attendees can now book rooms at the Plaza for $42 on Thursday night and $79 for Friday and Saturday night using the code: First Vegas Burn. Reservations can be made by phone at 800-634-6575.

Two after-parties will be held at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in conjunction with the special First Friday. From 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. under the Plaza’s dome, the Art Car Extravaganza will be held featuring the world’s most unique and artfully designed vehicles as well as the Dancetronauts with DJs Philthy Phil and EJ Tha.

Then from 1 a.m. until 6 a.m., the party will continue in the Plaza’s showroom where guests can dance into the wee hours of the morning. Entertainment will be provided by Project Alma, a Burner camp from Los Angeles featuring four top DJs and live theatrics.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino opened in 1971 at 1 Main Street, at the intersection of Main and Fremont Street, and was a fashionable stop on the first train service through Las Vegas.
