First, alternative reggae band Iration set the vibe with their deep-rooted reggae beats fused with elements of rock and pop. Following, Rebelution kept fans grooving by kicking off their set with “Sky is the Limit.” The California-based band performed a full set of hit songs that had the crowd singing along, including “Safe and Sound” and “Attention Span.”

“Set Your Life To Music” returns to the Boulevard Pool on Thursday nights this summer. Thehighly-anticipatedsummer series continues with Interpol (Aug. 21); Theophilus London (Aug. 28); Locals’ Night: Avalon Landing with special guest Ekoh (Sept. 4); Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires (Sept. 18); HAERTS (Oct. 2) and Dum Dum Girls (Oct. 9). Each night doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.
