Rice & Company Rolls into the Holiday Season with Celebratory Sushi
Rice & Company at Luxor Hotel and Casino will welcome the winter holidays with the “Peace, Love and Sushi,” “Santa’s Roll” and “Roll in the New Year” specialty sushi rolls.
Executive Chef Danny Chen’s dessert roll, the “Peace, Love and Sushi” is made with a blend of kiwi, mango, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry and cream cheese, wrapped in a sweet pancake and topped with yuzu and strawberry sauces. Priced at $9, this holiday roll will be available through December.
Santa’s Roll
The “Santa’s Roll” will get guests into the holiday spirit by incorporating red and green hues and coconut flakes to simulate snow. The festive roll is made with crawfish, sliced cucumber and carrots and topped with seared fluke, shiso leaf, coconut flakes and togarashi, a Japanese chili pepper, and finished with savory Thai mayo sauce. Priced at $19, this seasonal roll also will be available through December.
Roll in the New Year
Guests may toast the New Year as they enjoy the “Roll in the New Year” specialty roll and champagne pairing. Made with cream cheese, smoked salmon and mango, topped with shrimp, avocado and caviar and finished with spicy mango salsa and kabayaki sauce, this holiday roll is served surrounding a glass of house rosé champagne. “Roll in the New Year” is priced at $19 and will be available from Thursday, Dec. 26 through Friday, Jan. 1.
